All about Seoul

[Journal]Subway Line no. 2′s ‘OZ’

Last Saturday(Jan. 30)was my last Saturday of my winter vacation. That’s why it was a special Saturday for me; last weekend before school starts again shortly before students go up to next grade. (In Korea, schools formaly starts from March.)

Since I was desperate waiting for ‘Percy and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief’ movie(will be newly released on Feb. 11th in Korea)I was really glad hearing that the first book of the series I read four years ago was already made into a movie.

I went to Bandi&Lunis Bookstore to ‘personally own’ the whole series, with my family.

Bandi&Lunis Bookstore is one of my best visiting places these days. Of course I enjoy reading books very much; but as time passes, once I get to know more and more things by reading books of various areas, this bookstore became my favorite.

Banda&Lunis Bookstore, the one and the only bookstore in COEX Mall.[COEX stands for Convention and Exhibition]

It is famous to many foreign educators or foreign tourists currently leaving in Korea.

The bookstore actually handle almost all kinds of books and dvds, computer products like usbs, Nintendo DS, etc, and other interesting products such as unique shaped rubix cubes, and chain solving stuffs you will enjoy using hands and brain, etc. So much. It sells all kinds of things that will definitely attract your own eyes.

*This means the store itself is super duper huge, right? :D

After buying some extra personal books and all, our family left the store, and went to nearby Chinese food Restaurant, called Luchai.

It was placed across ‘Cafe Passcucci’ so if you ever visit COEX mall, you would easily spot the restaurant.

Here, we ate black bean sauce noodles, or called ‘J(j)ajangmyeon’ as an official name, and Lemon Sauced Chicken.

It was delicious-tasted just like ‘sweet-and-sour pork’,(Tangsuyook)!!

We were definitely full after eating ordered menus, and headed home right after; with books full in my hand. :)

After all, personally, I had quiet a …nice time… ;>

From,

XiahJ.

P.S. : COEX Mall is located on Samsung Station of Subway Line no. 2. WORLD FAMOUS INTERCONTINENTAL HOTEL is located near Samsung Trade Center, Samsung Station.

    • I read your blog’s post on [The Olympians] Series. Just like you, I am expecting best from the movie, when it comes out in theater. :)
